Margie was giving Nickie these happy little doe eyed looks throughout the family dinner. Nickie just ignored them and went about eating her dinner. What had happened between them the other night was a one time thing. She admitted it was a hell of a good time, but it probably wasn’t going to happen again. After dinner the kids played around in the backyard while the wives went inside to clean up the dishes.
“Barb you look exhausted, why don’t you go take a nice hot bath while Nickie and I do the dishes, you’ve been working pretty hard lately,” Margie smiled.
If Barb accepted her offer it would give her and Nickie a chance to talk.
“That’s really sweet of you Margie, Nickie would you mind?” Barb asked.
“No, not at all, go ahead,” Nickie replied, putting on that fake smile of hers.
“Thank you,” Barb smiled, going upstairs to relax in a nice hot bath.
“Nickie we should talk about last night,” Margie said seriously.
“Margene, what happened, happened. We don’t need to bring it back up,” Nickie said, washing out a pot.
“But I want to talk about, I felt something,” Margie smiled.
Nickie rolled her eyes some.
“Yeah, it’s called having an orgasm,” Nickie replied.
“No…I felt so many different emotions at that moment. Happiness, pleasure, love,” she explained.
“Well I didn’t. Margene, I care about you, but not in that way. You are not my husband or my lover, Bill is,” Nickie shrugged.
Margie sighed and loaded the utensils into the dishwasher. They finished cleaning up the dishes and kitchen in silence. Margie felt like her heart was slightly broken and she tried her best to ignore it. Nickie turned the dishwasher on and smiled at her sister wife.
“Have a good evening, Margene,” she said before leaving Margie alone with her thoughts.
As Nickie walked back to her house she couldn’t help but feel a little pang of happiness when Margie had told her all the emotions she had experienced with her the other night.
