You can see that I swim
Through the sea of painful
Erika couldn’t remember the last time she had vomited. Probably back when she was still a mortal. She knew she couldn’t do it now since she was dead, but she sure felt like she could. This bile and acid burned in the deep pits of her stomach. She could taste it on the tip of her tongue. The vile, disgusting hatred she was feeling right now was making her sick.
But would you tear my castle down
Stone by stone
She held Selene’s black shirt in her hands, which were now shaking softly. She had found it tucked behind Kraven’s pillows. The bastard. Perhaps her best friend had given it to a moment of weakness. Perhaps not. It didn’t matter anymore to Erika. She felt betrayed and wished she had listened to Amelia’s warning. Kraven was only going to hurt her in the end.
Using her long nails, Erika shredded the black shirt into thin little rags. She gathered them up and scattered them over Kraven’s bed. She didn’t stop there though. She climbed onto the bed and ran her nails down Kraven’s sheets, shredding them as well. She was blinded by hurt and rage and was willing to do whatever to make her feel just a little bit better.
And let the wind run through my windows
'Til there is nothing left but a battered rose
After she was through with his sheets, she tore the pillows up as well, throwing the stuffing across the room. Her blue eyes turned white with rage and she just began knocking and throwing things about. Once she was satisfied with the mess, she turned on her heels and left his room, returning to her own. Kraven returned to his room an hour later and saw the mess before his eyes. He let out a low growl as he caught Erika’s scent drifting about in the air.
There will come a Time
When I am stronger
Your words won't hurt any longer
Kraven stormed into Erika’s room, grabbing her by the throat.
“How dare you!” he roared, his voice shaking the wall she was pressed up against.
“How dare you! I give you everything you ask and still…you yearn for her!” Erika yelled, her eyes holding just as much as anger as his.
Kraven let go of her throat and watched her fall onto the floor. He didn’t say a word, he just left her room leaving Erika in silence. She rested her head against the wall and curled up tightly. She was so sick of this.
