The poet laureatte - Andrew Motion is coming into college on Wednesday! I have been looking forward to this, he is doing a reading of some of his poems which all English Lit students are expected to go to, and then afterwards a workshop with just 20 students, and i am one of them :). There is also going to be a college poetry competition and poems

I really like muddy knees and Turning Leaves. I also like untitled, but am wary of suggesting that one due to your discomfort with sharing something so personal.

Hiya Honey....I wouldn't use....1,2,4,5, 9..they are very personal. However I love number 3...the imagery and childhood memories are so strong. I also love number 8..again these of words to convey ideas etc is so enchanting. For your third poem I would choose either number 6 or 7. I love poetry readings...I meet Andrew while I was at college and he is really nice. Btw what college do you go to?
