Oh man... the more I think about that... oooooh it was like another life. It really was, too. Here's where I become a hardcore geek: my reference for change between then & now is I was hanging out on BBSes instead of actually on the internet. Because who, in 1994, had an internet connection other than college students? But it only took me a year or so to get to that, I suppose... (oh man. I had to write my own PPP scripts to get online the first time! In Trumpet Winsock for Windows 3.1! Jesus!)
Not to mention I was living in DOS. One cannot explain how truly claustrophobic that is, going back there after using a real operating system. 80x25 characters! That's where I lived! Forget resolution. We just had letters. And we liked it that way ( ... )
