Oh I could kiss you for the whole third paragraph!! I had the same complaints. BONES was trying so hard to get so much info out all at once that it bordered on being a mess. The jokes felt forced and that "sense of urgency" you mentioned did kinda give you the feeling that they were trying to wrap up the episode as quickly as possible. No need to rush BONES! There's a WHOLE lot of story yet to tell so slow your roll man! :)

Ed and Al were fantastic together! It was great seeing Al being something other than Ed's seven foot tall armored shadow! :) I can't wait for the next episode!!

Yes, I am SO glad that Al was such a presence - even when he wasn't saying much, he was physically in the scenes at all times.

I was going to mention that. That has literally got to be my favorite part so far of this series, Al is actually TAKING PART in the fight scenes, and they interact and work as a team, which is exactly as it should be for a series with the word "brotherhood" in it.

I agree with you on all accounts, but I'm very optimistic about where it's going. Can't wait for future episodes.

Eh, up and down. Currently jobless, but going back to school FINALLY in the summer. New FMA was awesome and win and of course you made it epic lolz. Seriously. (Oh and my friend Kate would like to attest that the movie didn't just drive Roy to drink, it made her drink, too XD)

OH JESUS I am so glad I'm not the only one who noticed the absolute AWESOMENESS of the fight scenes! I LOVED how Ed and Al were totally working together, and I gooshed over all the scenes where Al would grab Ed and swing him around, protecting Ed with his body. That was so terribly sweet and I'm pretty sure it only happened twice, but alas, I am already goo from it.

Yeah, I agree with you about the jokes/stereotypes/etc., but man, I still laughed like a little whore. :|

Yes, the fight scenes give me hope, honestly :) I LOVE the balance of power between Ed and Al, and the way Al shielded Ed with his body was gush-worthy. Hopefully once they get to the actual canon (and not BONES writing, I swear they keep trained monkeys instead of writers), the terribad will leave us XD

Also, your icon wins forever.
