Damn, what a great way to pick this story up again. As always, you do a wonderful job of showing how differently the animals and Marta interpret each other's actions, and making it make sense for the readers, no matter which side we're seeing things from. Using Marta's Edward to find out what was going on with the new residents made for a fascinating scene.
I like all the little details, too, like Mustang not eating his breakfast after it's been on the floor, but tidying it up anyway. Or Smokey's courting Alphonse by playing with his hair. XD
Poor Fullmetal has a lot of grief ahead of him. Detox will be really rough, and he also has to grow out of his littermate attachment to his brother. His reaction to Edward's relationship with Ling was very funny, though, especially considering what might be ahead for him with Mustang.
This chapter was great! I have to say i really love the "family unit' that is the Edward, Alphonse and Mustang. I think my fave art of this whole chapter was the conversation/confrontation between Ed, Fullmetal and the Mustang. I love your ZooFic so much! ;_;
I was so happy to see you update this fic. I hope you continue. It also gives me hope for A History of Violence, I would so love to see you continue that!
