I think I may have made a chemistry breakthrough today! Instead of using a particular base (which didn't seem to be letting a specific reaction happen), I decided that we needed a stronger base, and to perform the whole thing in water rather than an organic and/or harmful solvent. First day back, and about a year to go. And double majoring! Sometimes, I just amaze myself.

CALCULUS FINAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

It's funny how meeting and falling in love with one person can suddenly put the rest of your life into perspective.

I love how, upon approaching the end of the semester, every professor feels like they have to hit you with big projects or papers or lab reports or a million other things to do that just make you want to pull the hair out of your head ( Read more... )

So, really, I cannot remember the last time I had such a great weekend. :)

So this has been a pretty stressful week, overall. Two lab reports due (one of which is nearly finished) and a first draft of an English research paper due (which is finished).
