Finding love is not really a viable occupation, is it? I don't understand how the whole dating-thing works, really. How does one start? I have a problem with the whole thing because it oftens requires me to lower my standards and dumb myself down. I don't ever want to repeat the brief phase I was in a few years ago. Why should I have to be deferential and flirtacious? Why can't he put forth the effort? For once? It isn't asking that much I think. But you're right, love tends to find you when you least expect it and when it does find you it will be for the right reasons. I don't know, I've never been in love. Not really. But I agree with you.
