[Apparently Vexen's decided to use his journal as a sort of recording device, because at first there's just the generic sounds of a scientist hard at work in his lab, and then he speaks up, apparently not caring in the least that everyone can hear what he's saying. [Today, and mostly unrelated to recent events, anyone within earshot of their journals may be treated to a high-pitched shriek of outrage and annoyance as only Vexen can manage. H-how dare they do this to me! To me of all people! It's... it's nothing short of an outrage and I refuse to stand for it!

[Today, in what could possibly considered a minor miracle, there is a scientist out in the snow. More specifically, there is a scientist heading back from the shops. And given that there's a large blue-and-white shield slung across back in a manner not entirely unlike a turtle's shell at least one of the shops he's been to is fairly obvious ( Read more... )

Ah, there we are. Much better. The form is still exceedingly odd, but the function at least is undeniable. But can this place really be so large as to require such a thing? I'll need to look into that in more depth at some point.
