[Now she's quiet a bit more, trying to keep her expression as serious as possible versus degenerating into a state of hysteria.
His comment on knowing the way around the city makes her despair just a little, only adding to the fact that she lost him when she was trying so hard to get to him before it was impossible.

I thought I did, too... [she takes a slow look around for the first time, but the fog is a little thicker than she remembers last she was here.]
