Happy to report that these feet are planted firmly above ground. I think we all poofed back up at the same time.

[She gives an easy-going huff. For all the sickened horror and concern mixed together during their time in the basement, she's more tired and confused than anything.]

Did you take down your furry friend? [As casual a check-in as she can make it.]

[ And such a pretty bird to catch in his web~ He switches the channel to private. ]

How convenient of fate. Sad to say though, that the little "poof" disallowed me any more fun. Plus it seemed scared of my guest. [ Guest, of course, being Dai~ ]

I'd say so. Things were starting to turn rotten real fast.

[She purses her lips to keep from making a remark on Dai or her lingering disapproval of leaving Albedo alone with the minotaur. Tact, she was slowly learning it.]

Catch up, huh? [She takes a moment to look down at herself. The room of ancient corpses and Lawfer's explosion had called for a shower, and she's just lounging about for a breather. Maybe she should bother to comb her hair first-] Sure, why not? We haven't had a normal encounter off the network yet.

Define normal, darling.~ I've been having fun so far.

[ He's actually quite glad she agreed.~ ]

What would you like to do? Consider it a date. I'll escort and everything.~

I think at this point it'd be anything not involving death.

[She contemplates his offer for a moment, and can't help some amusement at the idea of Albedo escorting her anywhere.]

Gee, and I forgot to pack a dress.

You're not exactly talking to the queen of all things date-y. Got anything in mind?

[purpletaint]

That's my girl. [ His tone is pleased and slightly affectionate.

He pulls up the map on his device, humming at it. ]

Well, you'd probably want to stay in green areas so I can't suggest the gardens.... Maybe the--

[ He cuts off abruptly, then speaks again, a little quickly and lacking the nuances of before. He seems instead just an excited child. ]

What about the docks?

[She laughs incredulously, but there's a smile in her voice.] Your girl?

[Well, it could be worse.]

Wait, wait- [And now she's wary.] What at the docks has you interested?

[ His voice is nearly a purr at that. ] Do I have rivals here?~

[ Albedo pauses at her question. Max is correct to question any interest Albedo holds. As most have the double meaning of trouble for some, problems for others. However, in this solitary case, it's none of the above.

He hesitates, then- ] ...I've never seen a real body of water.

private voice;

[She means to scoff at that, but it comes out as more of a strangled choking sound. What is suave?

Though at his admission she feels a spark of guilt. Maybe she shouldn't have been so quick to jump at suspicion and judge his intentions...or at least it could have been more subtle.]

You've really never-? [Her tone goes steady with resolve.] Okay, then that's where we'll go.

[ You can hear his voice light up. ]

[ ...And then he seems to realize that. ]
