How old are you?

Eep! I am 34 - 35 next month. (T_T - old!)

Mr Jo and I met when I was on a date with another guy. XD I wasn't all that interested in the guy (was only going out with him for his Playstation) and it was our first and only date. On St Patrick's day! We went to a party then went into town to go to the pub where we bumped into a mutual friend who was drowning his sorrows after breaking up with his girlfriend, and had dragged his friend, Mr Jo, out to help him commiserate. I met Mr Jo, thought he was gorgeous and spent the rest of the night talking to him instead. My date left in a huff - which wasn't a big loss - and at the end of the night, Mr Jo and his friend walked me to get a taxi home. When we parted, I decided to throw caution to the wind and told Mr Jo he had the loveliest eyes I'd ever seen. LOL

A month later, we saw each other again and, after a few drinks, I plucked up the courage to ask him out. The rest, as they say, is history. Just as an aside, Tuesday just past was our ninth wedding anniversary. :D
