A.P.E. and Dia De Los Muertos

This weekend was spent at A.P.E. (that's Action Pants Explosion for you uninformed out there) on Saturday and Sunday. Oh DUDE. Have now hit such a period of angst and disillusionment with Goth that we are in the post-gothic era? PGE! It's all about wearing black not because it's a lifestyle, but because all colors and subcultures disgust you so entirely, why bother trying to make a statement?

Can we blend this motif in with our neo-communist Russian-Deutsch revival? I feel they are all connected, somehow, but I am not sure how.
