City Planning - Fall 07

Sep 13, 2007 20:16

With the beginning of a new season comes the need for a new City Planning guide. As our resident civil engineer, D, has left the norcal area, I have humbly opted to take his place as coordinator of local events. Presented below are the weekends, with planned events where appropriate. Please comment to let me know about events you'd like to add ( Read more... )

"9/22: Maybe do a Magic afternoon?"
->That works for me.

10/31 - All Hallows Eve party at the DNA. It's a freakin' amazing show and party. You guys should come out!

Some time in early December - Dicken's Fair. First weekend perhaps?

"Lorwin Prerelease in Santa Clara (either sat or sun, depending on schedules)"

What is this? It's near me!

the newest magic prerelease (we went to the last one for time spiral)

it's good fun with a mildly competitive edge.

That's exactly what I was thinking! Something actually in my neighbourhood... ;_;

hey... would you be up for an event in your neck of the woods, like a movie day or something similar at your house? Lemme know, and i'll add it to the calendar.

9/28 through 9/30 I will probably be in Seattle, so I won't be attending PLF that weekend.

:( We'll miss ya!

As an aside, I was planning on taking Erin L. to the motorcycle store to look at gear so that she can ride with J sometimes. Would you be interested in coming along and possibly getting some of your own to ride with Ian? Having a jacket and gloves can make all the difference between surviving a crash with intact appendages and not... Not sure if it's in your budget right now, but it might be fun to go try on stuff anyway.

Lemme know!

Hugs and love,
me

We were talking about that. I definitely need a helmet at the very least. When are you planning on going?

I don't have any events to add at this time other than to note that 10/14 is Athena's birthday.

A Magic afternoon sounds entertaining, I will most likely be there; however, depending on if any Magic cards have been unpacked by then, I might not be able to participate.
