The other possible ID for the original was a raccoon-- not skinned, but just minus fur from being in the water for a while. *This* one looks like it could be a raccoon, too.

yeah, i'd never heard the boxer identification, but i sorta lost track of it after a few weeks. as far as i knew it was a raccoon, which i'm guessing this to be as well.

Man, that list of 40 creatures. A lot of them have photos of totally unrelated cryptids, several of which were shown to be fakes.

And, why is the snipe even in there? It's a bird!
