Ewwwwww ticks! *Shudder* I hate the little buggers! Love animals and totally believe that no animal ever deserves to be hurt. Always wanted to be a cryptozoologist...settled for writing about amazing animals instead! Ewwww ticks! LOL!

I've been a little shocked at the rather vehement response to that comment on some of the other communities I posted to! I guess I just trusted folks to realize that I was being goofy, and wasn't out to squash every tick and scorpion on the planet. Ah well, c'est la.

I suspect that the most outspoken ones don't live in rural areas like I do, where every trip outside means removing 3-4 of the little buggers afterwards! (or having to shake out your shoes/pajamas/pants/shirts/etc and look under every washcloth for scorpions before putting them on/using them!)

That sounds like a pretty damn cool job to me, I have to say!
