What I got:
1) What's your favorite song?
A seemingly simple question but it made me think, really. Haha~ If we're talking English songs, my favorite would be When You Say Nothing at All by Ronan Keating/Westlife/various artists. It has sentimental value to me, and I really like the lyrics. But then I listen to Japanese or anime OP songs more so I'll list it here too... Well it's a tie between Teardrop by Bowl (Yu-gi-oh GX 3rd OP) and Innocent Starter by Nana Mizuki (Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha OP). I waver between both depending on whether I feel like listening to a male-voice song or a female's. Teardrop's lyrics, when I read the English translation, really struck the romance writer in me. It isn't really a romantic song, but the lyrics talk about how just a simple smile from someone can save you or make you happy, and also just being there for someone and letting them cry on you when they need to. It sounds like an ideal romance than what romance is in real life and I think it's just beautiful. As for Innocent Starter, I also like the lyrics, but what strikes me more is the lovely and catchy melody of the song, especially the intro.
2) What got you into KHR?
Well... To be honest I can't really remember. xD I suppose it's because I was looking for new manga to read, but I didn't want to read Naruto, Bleach or One Piece (usually the top 3 mangas on manga sites) because it's too... well... shounen for me. xD Then I noticed Katekyo Hitman Reborn was up there too and got curious. I've actually been seeing a lot of FFnet shounen-ai writers writing for that fandom so I wondered about that too. So on late October... or possibly early November 2010 I started reading the manga and got hooked instantly, reading the first 50 or so chapters in one sitting. xD Though I had school, I managed to squeeze time reading a few chapters a day, and I finally finished reading till the then current chapter on December 2010.
So.... Katekyo Hitman Reborn... Well, it is shounen, yes, but it has this quirky quality that sets it apart from the other action-y and bloody competition in the genre. Tsuna is an interesting protagonist, far from the loud and confident main character often associated with shounen. And so are the plethora of characters in the manga, who seem cliche at first sight but actually have characteristics that make them unique. I'm not sure if I'll ever fall out of this fandom the way I did with several others before, but for now I've settled comfortably~
3) Do you believe in ghosts?
Wow, a little random this time xD I'm not completely superstitious, but I can't deny I've 'felt' their presence a few times, since I often do overtime club work in school. So, I'll probably go with a safe answer: I won't deny that they aren't there, but I'm not going to go looking for proof of their existence either. xD
4) What kind of plushie do you want for Christmas?
Ah, this has something to do with my post about my plushie collection, yes? Haha~ I'm not really picky with gifts so I'll be happy with whatever plushie I get. If given the choice however, I'd love an eagle plushie. Or a white owl~ ^^
5) Do you have a favorite quote?
Hn. Not really. Though if we're talking favorite quote used in my fanfics, it's "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" by Thomas Haynes Bayly.
