I have always had this thing for sunset pictures, especially one by the sea.

What made you decide on the Galapagos?

Any pictures of those weird animals on the island?

Hi, I was perusing LJ travel and this really caught my eye - there are two places on earth I want to visit before I die: Galapagos and Antarctica.
I've been to like 25 countries, but not to Galapagos yet.
Do you have more photos?
Also, I'm curious if you can provide info on what type of cruise, the outfitter andabout how much it cost. I am considering going for broke next year and going - either as a volunteer for forest/vegetation on the largest island, or as a cruiser.

Ah, Antarctica, that's my next destination after the African safari. Then I'll die happy. Of course I have more photos. Am posting them up slowly when I've got the time.

I went on the Angelique. Can't really remember the budget. You may want to look it up online. It's actually very easy to arrange. I coordinated this trip with three other friends in three different locations all online. Quite a feat considering how other trips I made required a lot of long distance phone calls and guess work or just turning up in the hopes of getting a place.
