We were just coming out of the fabric market when I spotted a cha ye dan (tea egg) vendor by the road. Happily paid my 50 cents for it and it tasted good! Snapped a couple of shots here.

Hmmmm...I ate duck heads in a restaurant in Shanghai. But they were deep-fried and therefore quite yummy. The ones in your pic don't look appetising leh.

I don't think the Filipinos cook balut in tea leaves, but it's an interesting take on the classic... ;-)
