Never heard of PARFAIT. At least... don't think I have. Were they at Otakon?

Nope. The video for the opening song for Death Note (or maybe it's the ending song, I'm not sure) has a group in the beginning... The song is called Zetsubou Billy and it's by Maximum the Hormone (gotta love engrish names for japanese bands) in case you want to see the video. I dunno if you've seen Death Note or not, but in the video the first group (parfait) gets slowly killed off and then it shows the actual band playing the song >_> kind of a trippy video. I likes it.

I looked it up on YouTube and, wow, that is pretty cool. Death Note is one of those things for which I've been like "I should watch that!" and then completely forgotten about it, multiple times. Someday, yes....

We should watch it together =D I started reading the manga but got distracted, so I'll probably either:

a. blitz through all of the manga
-or-
b. give up on the manga for now and go with watching the anime and the live-action thingy.

If you like the actual video, you'd probably like the AMV that (I think) won an award at Otakon and goes along with it. Maybe it wasn't at Otakon. Either way, it's awesome. ^_^
