Why are you catering to him like this? It's your body, your hair, and if you like yourself better with short hair - go for it! The implications of this are really scary.
Well, yeah, of course it's not the same thing.... But you know when somebody says something, but his face obviously~ is speaking something else, lol? That's what happened. He's not a good liar. :\ I think he hates short hair on girls no matter what, though, because every single thing he's ever said about a girl/her hair when it's short has been negative. -_-
And yeah. I'm a huge push-over in a relationship. And if we're being completely honest here, that's an especially bad flaw for me right right now, because he's terribly selfish; I'll give him the world, and he'll snatch it up without batting an eye.... I've recently talked to him about this, ya know...... He thinks I'm being a 'girl' about it. You know, over-dramatic and shit... And I often am a 'girl' about certain things, but not this. Maybe I should show him your comment, lol. It's pretty sad when he can't see this, yet everybody else - including just friends off the Internet who I've never actually met - can tell this is the case from simple remarks I make. :|
A "girl" about it? Wow, that's some lovely misogyny right there. =/ Yeah, you should definitely show you that comment. I mean, right now it's only about your hair - but what can you expect from someone who doesn't respect your bodily autonomy? This is an ugly little red flag.
Well, I had a long talk with him yesterday, and I did in fact show him your comments, lol, along with parts of an e-mail my friend wrote, which were very similar. I really am starting to think he truly doesn't understand how he makes me feel sometimes. He's just so naturally selfish, it really doesn't click. But maybe when he realises that it's not just me saying this, he'll think it through better.
