When I get into something I get completely and totally into it, to the point where I can discuss and think about nothing else. I spend all my free time on it, it's all I can discuss, it's all I want to do... it's really frustrating and it's down right terrible to

As you know and have experienced, I'm the same way that you are. Fandom doesn't seem like a big deal, but when you're obsessed with one, it's just like a drug. I don't think I've gotten it right quite yet, but I don't have the same stuff to juggle with as you. Best bit of advice that I could give you is do what you do with the 10-11 Stephen time, and apply it to everything else. With your new friend, give her a time or day of the week where you can RP or write with her or whatever. Come up with a time frame to just talk with your friends. Don't be too strict about it. The borders can blur a bit.... it seems constricting, but for me, it makes me happy that I can find time to do everything without leaving something behind.

I wish I could give you better advice than that D: It's like a cocaine addict trying to teach a heroine junkie how to quit: it doesn't work XD;;

Well, that was what I was thinking... hopefully it'll work. I just feel bad because I keep daydreaming about the stuff. DX Although I daydream about other stuff too so I guess I shouldn't worry. As long as I make a point of balancing, I should be alright.
