Well... if you're clinically depressed, then actually you do have a right to whine. Depression = you not being able to suck up and deal with stuff, you just have to seek out the things that help you ride it out.
And yeah, everyone wonders about whether there's a point, sometime or another. But it is possible to decide there's no real purpose or meaning to life and still enjoy it being on this planet. (Personally, I think the point to making others happy is, well, there are people I love to see happy. So, yeah.)
On talent - yes, everything has been done before, but that's alright. Because whatever you do, no one's going to have done it your way. And you know that there are people who will love your work for that, because, well, right here.
And, um, I'm trying to be rational against chemical imbalances, real smart there, Zoro...
Okay - short version - I love you. I'm here. And it's worth it, you being here, I promise, even if you can't see it right now. *hugs*
Awww, well, thanks Saiyako. ^^ And I know you're right, depression is just silly like that.
You make a really good point, though... maybe I should just try focusing on making other people happy again. I guess I've just felt lately that since I keep starting new projects and others kind of seem to fade off, I feel worried that I really didn't make much of a difference when I made people happy with my work and it didn't matter anyway since time happened and such. Maybe all that matters is the present... and if that's the case I guess I just have to find new ways to reach people again. It's better than having nothing at all, anyway.
Annnd I'm visiting the school counselor today, and I'm told she's pretty darn good since it's an art school and thus we're all insane. XD So here's to hoping that helps, heh.
Thanks for commenting... I know we don't talk much anymore, but that you keep commenting anyway and being supportive really means a lot. *hugs*
Ah, good to know about the counselor. I'm sure she can give you better advice than mine.
And I'm looking forward to that time when you'll have more time for us to talk again. XD
In the meantime... as far as non-school stuff goes, just do the projects you want to do, I'd say. Maybe plan for short-term things if you find that you keep dropping things... anything you produce will make someone happy, as long as you, you know, actually produce it. *hugs*
