Just spent an hour or so rereading old Raftel stuff and my LJ... man. There was some fail there on my part (and oh God my Luffy was so OOC. That was not Luffy, self, that was a shiny desu-eyed yaoi uke monster. Saiyako, how did you stand me?) but I still really miss some of it. Some good times were had and I miss Saiyako and RedPirate and everyone

I've actually been pretty for seriously considering going back there and checking up on things...I really can't believe it's been seven years* since we first met.

We should have some sort of epic get-together in the summer, haha. ...Except that Australia is pretty far away.

Garaku was planning on a Raftel meet-up in the summer and then we're hoping to have a big chat meet-up on the board anniversary.

Sorry I missed you on MSN, life has been busy. D: We shall catch up soon though!

And actually I believe it's been almost five years since I met you all at the end of my freshman year of high school.

Saiyako, how did you stand me?
Because I loved your Luffy! You may have played up his uke-ness a bit, but he was still strong and brave and devoted to his crew, and silly in all the right ways. It's my Zoro that I worry about sometimes, though...

And YES, we need to catch up online, as many of us as we can gather. I've got a con this weekend, but afterwards, I should have some time again.

(I wish we could do Kanthia's idea of a meet-up, but Red and I can't get to North America in the winter... *sad* I need to work on getting hold of a Tardis, then we can pop over whenever we want. (Although we'll probably miss and hit 18th-century France again. *pout*))

Naaah, your Zoro was epic. XD Reading your stuff, I am like "eeee". And then same goes for anything Red or Kitsune or Kanthia or Kaya ever did. It's me I cringe at, though I guess we're always our own worst critic.

And yes, we need a Tardis! D: Garaku is planning to have a big Raftel meet-up this summer buuuut me thinks it's kinda hard for you guys to get up here. YOU WILL BE THERE IN SPIRIT!

Yep, it's the usual artist-self-loathing striking again. I haven't dared reread my old stuff because usually when I reread it for inspiration I'd either be all, "OMG THAT'S TERRIBLE WHY DID i HAVE HIM SAY THAT?!!!!" or "OMG I'LL NEVER BE THAT GOOD AGAIN!" So I don't dare.

Where is the meetup gonna be? If it's somewhere with internet, it may be possible to set something up for Red and/or me.

There's also gonna be a big reunion on the actual board on Raftel's fifth anniversary, hopefully. So here's hoping you guys can at least make that~!
