I changed my mind: today SUCKED!  I was at work and reading Proust (boring as heck) and what did I do, I fell asleep.  I woke up when my head slipped off my hand and slammed into the desk.  Now I have a black eye from hitting the corner.  *grumbles*  I think the universe just might hate me.

Oh, snap! You hit your eye? I was going to laugh when you said you fell asleep, as I used to regularly do that in these really heinous documentation seminars I had to attend in school, but at least I was in an auditorium and could nod off on a friend's shoulder or something. Now you're going to have to come up with a cool cover story about where that shiner came from--ambushed by ninjas at the local laundromat, perhaps?

It's hilarious that I fell asleep, but hitting the desk kinda sucked. It was at just the right angle to hit my eye. I really do think it's a conspiracy against me. I'm sticking with the story I got it from defending a school bus of innocent kindergarteners from twenty Hell's Angels on bikes. With my bare hands. Although the ninjas might be a bit more believable.

My vision is fine. Because I was asleep, my eye was closed. And I think the drool cushioned my fall. Yes, I drool, just to warn you. It's a big bruise, but it'll go away in time. *feels better already*
