Anyway.
♠ - moved into college. Spiffy upperclassman dorms are spiffy. My roomies are awesome, too. My first night here? Alfred (straight gamer with a girlfriend who's a buddy of mine. He used to have long hair, but he cut it) hauled out an H.P. Lovecraft-inspired board game in which you can punch out Cthulhu, which we were up playing until four in the morning. It was AWESOME. While I did not get to dropkick Cthulhu, we did save the world from Ithaqua -- barely. One fumbled roll and we all would have died. But it was the most emotionally-charged board game I've ever played.
♠ - Speaking of roomies, there's Alfred, who is into comics and video games high fantasy and neat stuff like that. There is JT, who is also into RPGs and stuff, who is gay and a total sweetheart. Oh my god. He's so nice. I just want to pinch his cheeks and take him home with meeee~ And there's Jake, who is a normal transfer student and sociology major, who has no idea what all these video games are about. XDD He's also about as gay as you can get. Seriously. He makes Franco look like he digs boobs. It's crazy. When he and JT are talking, I get overcome with the urge to interior-decorate, or get some shoes~, or design clothes. >.< I love them alllll they're so niiiiiice.
♠ - Working on an Agatha costume, which just might be ready for DragonCon! I need to make the glasses, though.
♠ - Also working on an epic P4 future fic, that spans my headcanon and then some, because it's actually gotten plot.
♠ - CLASSES. Classes are good! Not as good as last year, but still good. Devil in Literature is my favorite by far. I just got through reading about the origins of Judeo-Christian myths and it's so interesting. I can't be assed to type up everything here, but it's really neat. Other than that, I have 18th and 19th Century Literature, Spanish I, and a core class that looks like it's all philosophy. >.<;;; Not my favorite subject, but I shall persevere.
♠ - TRIED OUT FOR A PLAY ON THE SECOND DAY OF SCHOOL. It's a play with, like, forty parts, so here's hoping.
SHOUT-OUT TO ANYONE WHO DOES COSTUMING STUFF: I NEED TO MAKE AGATHA/INTEGRA GLASSES. I wouldn't mind buying them, whether online or somewhere. The trouble is, I haven't been able to find them IRL. I've been thinking of taking jewelry wire and making them, but I'd like to have lenses for them.
BOTTOM LINE: does anyone have any ideas for lenses? I've kept my eye out for freak discs of flat glass, or something I can make them out of, but since I'm no glassmaker, I really have no idea. HELP, FLIST. I KNOW SOME OF YOU DO COSTUMING STUFF. WHAT CAN I DO IN A WEEK AND A HALF?
