Diana Gabaldon.
An author i absolutely adore. Her writing is so brilliant.
Hers are epic historical fiction novels. It astounds me just how much research goes into each. Each book takes me ages to read - and it's not because i don't love them, but because the books are so huge to try and carry around!!! LOL.

True. You say it so succinctly =)
And you know what? I think that perfection can be achieved - for the individual. Perfection can be FOUND in imperfection - as long as it's not subjected to the scrutiny of others who's idea of perfection would undoubtedly be different =)
