A huge hyperbolic 'fuck you' to one-match "fans"

I’m not going to mention the match. Everyone knows my feelings about it already. What I am going to mention, however, are the “fans”. You know the ones. Couldn't agree more. I've got a horrible feeling that the great British press, who were carrying on as if Rafa's injury was something to celebrate and Roger then losing meant that they might as well just give Andy the trophy, are going to crucify him, but hopefully he'll have the sense to ignore them.

I had a scroll thru some of the murray hashtag comments last night to try and get a feel for what you and others were upset about. Noone on my feed had anything bad to say which is good (but surely expected). They were pretty harsh but so obviously from casual tennis watchers. Not people that have any inkling of the sport. The same kind of thing happened to me when delpo lost to baghdatis and I was in garden square. So many pple kept going on about how bad he was now and wondering why he was losing and it was so god damn painful I started crying when the trainer came out!! People just have no idea. I know its basically impossible to ignore the masses and the press, but try your hardest. When muzz does win one it will be so damn sweet it might even b worth the wait.
