I need to not be so quick to hit the 'post' button.

Anyways, I especially loved this bit:

"Kevin, I'm stone cold sober and I know that one beer isn't enough to even get you tipsy. If you're going to say no, do it now."

I kinda sorta threw my fist in the air and went "YEAH!" >_>

Hee, thank you! There have been so many wonderful fics with one or both of them being drunk at the arcade that I wanted to do it differently. And that line feels like something that Alan would say, because he's responsible enough not to assume.

Thank you thank you thank you. I normally don't like "drunken first time" fics, but I've kinda let my standards slide with this fandom (because a lot of people have done it really well). It's still so delightful and refreshing to see a fic where they make a point of not making drunken decisions.

Finally had the time to sit down and read this properly, and all I can really think to say is 'guh'. This was mind-meltingly hot, and the fact that it's Alan initiating everything is just such a wonderful change, because yes, yes he would know exactly what he wanted and how to set about getting it. And, God, the sex was wonderful.

I, uh. Thank you so much.

Alan does strike me as the type who would know what he wants, and I loved writing the seduction scene with that in mind. I'm so pleased that the sex turned out well - I couldn't really tell as I was writing it.

You know how much I love it <3 hnnnng. Especially the way Alan knows exactly what he wants, and isn't afraid to take it. Flynn had no chance~

Heee, Flynn definitely never had a chance. Alan's too good at getting what he wants (unless Lora changes his mind). The only reason Alan isn't ruling the world is because he doesn't want to.

Thank you, Val!

Picturing evil overlord Alan right now, and liking it!

Oh dear god. The amount to which I am in love with this... I wouldn't have thought swearing!Alan would be so sexy! Haha. But honestly, your writing is just absolutely gorgeous. I never once questioned the validity of Flynn's perspective and their characterizations...it's all just so spot-on. I actually took a moment to rejoice over your: "'Oh yes, and that makes me feel so much better,' Alan said waspishly, turning his head away." line, because for some reason, it just sounds SO perfect Alan in my head, I could hear it loud and clear. Beautiful job. Even the sex was written wonderfully, not just the same expected sex scene, but something so much MORE. I'm beyond in love with this. :)

*blushes* Thanks you! I'm really pleased that it resonated with you so much, and I'm glad that you said which bits worked especially well for you.

And swearing!Alan is very sexy. Especially if you've ever heard Bruce Boxleitner swear.

(Sorry for taking so long to get back to you on this, things have been a bit mad recently.)
