Men of the Year 2005 // (50-26)

Dec 27, 2005 15:43

So, kinda like GQ, I decided I wanted to do a Men of the Year 2005 post. I was just gonna do the top ten, but then I saw gambits_rogue doing her Top 100 Hotties and thought it'd be cool to do 100 Men of the Year...but then I couldn't come up with 100 men that I saw do awesome things in 2005. It was starting to be just random hot guys, lol, which is awesome - ( Read more... )

You ROCK!
This list is totally entertaining and you inspired me to make one, too. I'll probably be too lazy, though...

I love these end of year lists and the fact that you managed to squeeze Neil Patrick Harris, Enrico Colantoni, Joaquin Phoenix, and Josh Jackson on the same list is amazing. Thanks for doing this, it was so much fun to go through :)

And I'm totally down with the Steeples and Suplee love, I don't find Ethan Suplee remotely attractive, but he does play a lifesize teddy bear on MNiE lol :P And I'll forever remember him for his role in "Mallrats" because that was so me, when staring at 3-d pics :D

Suplee is *totally* a lifesize teddy bear! And that's exactly why I did a "Men of the Year" thing instead of "Sexiest Men" or whatever. That way I didn't have to worry about who I found "hot" when I put together my list. Just who I found talented and entertaining over the past year. :)

I think you're gonna like Josh Jackson's upcoming movie Aurora Borealis because it's IMO his best work. Steven Pasquale plays his older brother and it's definitely a dramatic role for both.

That is the one I'm most looking forward to. Josh + Pasquale = me completely interested. :)

Well I'm hoping things go smoothly for it because it would be a damn shame if it got shelved or straight to dvd.

It really would be. I love independent-type films, but sometimes it just doesn't work out well for them. Or, me getting to see them in this part of the world before they're on DVD.

I'm very glad to see James Marsters and Jared Padalecki on the list. Very good list by the way. I can't wait to see the rest. :)

What a cool idea. Your choices are awesome.

I agree with ya about Close to Home. To be honest I record it on my DVR in the hopes of seeing him. I usually watch it while cleaning up my apartment or something like that and whenever I hear his voice I jump up and rewind it to see him. :)

I love Josh Jackson! It just breaks my heart that they stopped filming DC the same year I was gonna be going to school in Wilmington. I can't wait to see his new movies.

Aww, thanks.

I did that for awhile with Close to Home too. I think I still have 3 or 4 eps saved on the DVR that I haven't watched yet, lol.

*sighs*

Wilmy! I love Wilmy. It's far and away my favorite vacation spot. :)

We went there, too--not long after they stopped filming. It's gorgeous there. I loved it, but alas my daughter chose to go to college somewhere else. :-)

Aww, well we went during the springs of the last two seasons they were there. 2002 and 2003. So we got to see a lot of the DC related sets and ran into a couple of the actors filming outside. Very cool. :)
