I see the most of Lightning, like last time, although I do think Hope wouldn't be a bad fit, as well. Let's see... we don't know much about Light from XIII-2, but what we do know is that she's very cold, stoic, private, introverted and collected, as well as someone with strong opinions and a great determination, Although not nearly as developed as she was in XIII, she still showed various sides of her personality, like loyalty and care to the people she loves, i.e. Serah, Vanille and Fang and annoyance at Caius, who was kind of obsessed with fighting her, from what I've seen, that is. I think it also shows that she's definitely not someone who will give up her life and will just because of a seemingly hopeless situation. :)

My first impression was Lightning. I haven’t played this game yet ( well, it was released only in Japan ) but considering her personality in Final Fantasy XIII and from what I've been able to gather about her in Final Fantasy XIII-2 I think she’s the best fit overall. She strikes me as cynical, stoic, introverted, independent, organized, collect, not really cheerful, analytical, private and determined. Also your situation section reminds me a lot of her, Lightning was a bit frustrated at first but also determined to fulfill her focus and save Serah so I think she really fits your answers nicely.

I voted you Lightning last time and since I am not overly familiar with the XIII-2 characters I think I'm going to vote you Lightning again. I considered Caius because he seems pretty introverted,cynical and reserved but honestly is not easy to find information about the characters since the games is out only in Japan and I'm not sure if he really fits well. On the other hand I think Lightning fits your positive and negative traits and the description of your personality, and from what I know about Final Fantasy XIII-2 her personality hasn't changed at all so I still can see her in your application. Just like you Lightning is stoic, introverted, very independent, organized and pessimistic/realistic and the overall tone of your application reminded me of her.

I have to agree with the Lightning votes. FFXIII-2!Lighting is the same as FFXIII!Lightning in terms of personality from what I read from wikis... She is introverted, stoic, cynical, independent, determined, cold but still cares for the people she loves.

I still see a lot of Lightning! Not much is known about her yet, but based on what is seen, I imagine most of her character stays pretty similar to how it was before. Lightning tends to be a quiet loner, but her opinions are strong. She seems more passionate now, but I imagine she really cares about it, which is why she acts so strongly, and that fits your description as well. All of your positive and negative adjectives fit Lightning, and she can be independent, cunning, and a perfectionist. I could see Lightning appreciating similar personality traits, and she never strikes me as the self-sacrificing sort, but more of the "I would be more useful alive when I can do something" kind of person.
