first day you should do about 10-15, and build up slowly from them. if you rush it, not only do your muscles form badly, but you weaken them and ruin your body's pattern of working out. you should only push yourself when you feel lazy, not when you're really really dead. it's a workout motto. but keep it up, it's good cardio, just don't overdue it, or you'll regret it...a lot.
