My car window was busted out lastnight. $150 I don't have My cd player was stolen $150 I don't have My Camera was stolen out of my trunk. $100 I don't have Fuck assholes
if you want to save a bit on the window, call around to salvage yards and see if any of them have any. just tell them make, model and year of your car and then which window it was and they should be able to tell you. and i think it'll probably be around $50. you might have to clean it up a bit, when i got one that way it was covered in dirt and shit and there was some adhesive on it from a sticker or something, but it didn't take long to fix and then my dad just took my door apart and put it in. even if you had to pay someone to put it in, i doubt it would be more than $20-$30. and i can recommend a good/reliable shop if you need.
Thanks Rachael. Yeah it does suck though. I hate living in the apartments I do (North Side by Quil Springs Mall) because My car has been broken into twice, one of my Tires was slashed once, My boyfriends car was broken into, and when my cousin lived here her apartment was broken into, someone basically took a bat to the patio window during the middle of the day, she was home and hid in a closet and called the cops which they took about 20 minutes to get to her and by then the place was ransacked but luckly the guy didn't check the water heater closet and find her. So all in all this apartment complex basically sucks and I'm glad my lease is up in a month.
wow, that's CRAZY!!!!!!! you know that in a situation like that, you don't have to see your lease to the end right? if you have a reasonable fear for your life in a place, you can break the lease. it's in the landlord/tenant act.
