Amidst the Spotlight

A single spotlight provides the only remaining glow. Saying his final goodbyes before the winter holiday, he put his best face forward-sending well wishes to his students and their families on this, the happiest of seasons…or at least it is supposed to be. Eating a frozen turkey dinner on the couch in his pajama’s while watching the yearly holiday

this was lovely. Loved the first part which so well describes the lonliness and sadness and then of course Emma's feelings.

I really do hope we see this shown on their faces next season (heartbreaking Will so just so wonderful in it's honesty and simplicity)
