fic writing

Today I finished the first draft of a short fic (less than 2300 words) that I have been working on for the past week.  It started with a ficlet/drabble prompt from citiesandsigns  which I fully intended to keep under 500 words.  It kind of ballooned into pretty unfamiliar territory, and I'm not sure it's something anyone will actually want to read, but oh well

Yes. Then again, I also get grumpy and depressed when I do write. There's just no winning. *g*

Yeah, I know what you mean. I actually enjoy writing when I do get to do it, though. Like it makes me feel really good about myself. It's the editing bit and the worrying about people reading it that gets me down, mostly. XD
