今晚的星光同學會!!!!

So today, I went to the to 星光同學會 and had a MAJOR blast.  My mom got us free $108 tickets from the Chinese radio station 1300.  黃靖倫was AMAZING~~~~~~

Okay, so the show started promptly at around 7:35 so I was really surprised.  The other cons that I’ve gone to actually started later cuz they wait on the people to actually arrive before they

Uh, you know the Taiwanese singing competition called One Million Star? A few popular members are for example Aska Yang, James Lin and Jam Hsiao. They all became famous after this show. You can find their stuff on Yesasia and yeah. But they're from the first season.

These people that were at the con last night were from second and third season. Huang Jing Lun was the only guy out of the 6 people that came from Taiwan to perform. It just so happened that the second and third seasons were filled with girls, so the girl fans had to flock all onto one guy. Haha.

He's not even really that hot, but he's still hot just cuz he can't be hot. Like, he tries dance, but he can't really dance. And he thought he couldn't sing, but he has an amazing voice. And then overall, he's just really awkward, but that's just what's really awesome with him. HEEEE.

I may have heard of it...I thought...would it be Wang Lee Hom? Cuz that's the only Wang i know, but I guess that doesn't make sense since he has a whole bunch of fans.

Hahahaha. LeeHom, I would be calling by his English name and not go through all the trouble of actually typing out these people's Chinese names. >.< Especially since I don't know how to type in Chinese, I have to use the IME pad and write everything out with my mouse, which is such a hassle. -_-'' like those messages down there...

You didn't know about it? News came out about the con back in like early July. Where do you live? Maybe they just don't have ads about it from where you are? *shrug*

PLEASE DO COMMENT LATER. I think you're the only one on my f-list that can understand me the most in this situation. >.< Cuz well, most of my f-list doesn't watch the show like me cuz 1) they're not Taiwanese and/or 2) they don't know as much about Taiwanese stuff. But I still had to let everyone know how much FUN I had. XD

I'm from Texas, LOL. Houston to be exact. Generally speaking, we have a pretty big Taiwanese population here.. but not as much as LA or anything like that, so.. *shrugs. Was the news online or something?

BUT YOUR MOM IS SO COOL. & good hell, those tickets were expensive! Which makes it even cooler, LOL.

ANYWAYS, YOU ARE SUCH A LUCKY ONE. ♥ This is for season three right? I wasn't too big on two or three, but it's still exciting nonetheless! How did you manage to get backstage, btw? Your mom probably has connections! Hahah. Btw, did you take pictures?! I hope you were able to bring a camera inside.

& I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN. You are my Taiwanese half. ♥ XD

Ahahah~ Man that's FARRRRRRR. Like, in the middle of nowhere @_@. Do you guys have China Towns and such?! The CMs were played throughout the Chinese cable channels here in So. Cal. They had auditions here in January, so a part of the competitors were from So. Cal.

As for going backstage, it wasn't as much as going backstage to give the flowers to him. And yes, this is season two and three. And MY MOM IS HECKA COOL HUH~ She just knew some people who worked at the major Mandarin radio station here and since the station got free tickets, my mom asked for them. She was like, "Hey *insert her name*, you don't even know One Million Star. Why don't you just give me your tickets?" LOL

I did take pictures, but just from my seat. I didn't actually get to take a picture with anybody. Booooo. And I was able to bring it inside and record a large part of JingLun's performances. Haha.

YAY FOR TAIWANESE HALF. We understand each other like no other can. Hahah~ <333
