Last Tuesday my mom left for Taiwan due to a family emergency. Don't worry though, because my grandmother has undergone emergency surgery and is slowly recovering. My mom's gonna be gone for at least a month, so I'll be going around on my own for a while.
...and I'm stranded. >.< Hahaha

There is a way to get back...but I'd need somebody to drop me off at the Gold Line stop at Pasadena. It's 30 mins to get from Pasadena to Downtown. And then from there it's another 1.5 hrs during non-traffic hours to get to UCLA. yeah. Long ride. But I'm back to UCLA though. =)

1. Take Unitrans (UC Davis bus system) to campus, go to library area.
2. Take interUC shuttle to Berkeley library.
3. Find BART station, take BART to SF.
4. Get on CA Shuttle bus at BART station.
5. 7 hours........
6. UNION STATION! GLORY ON THE EARTH!
ahahaha. I have not yet done this because most of the time I can find a ride to Oakland, and I have yet to take the CA Shuttle bus since I have only taken the now-defunct Megabus. On the way up I always happen to get a ride........
Yeah, I totally do not like to go back and forth between Davis and LA. That's why I don't want to go home this winter. Plus honestly.........the central valley is so damn boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, in any situation, I'm glad that we have it mapped out. Hopefully we'll never have to use it. I could probably find a bus that'll take me from Pasadena to Arcadia, maybe the mall? But from there it's still another 10+ blocks to get home. I'd rather ask my mom's friend to pick me up instead. Haha.
Central valley...is...like Bakersfield?
