Role Play Chat Log: Dec. 23rd, Skii Lodge Trip Part Two
((Setting: Seto Kaiba's lodge. Characters: Yugi, Yami, Seto, Honda, Bakura, Malik. Status: RPG in progress))
YAMI: Yami looks around the room, and sighs before turning to Honda. " May be we should go downstairs and see if there is anything to do to help. You are right and I need to just let it go and see what happens."
HONDA: Honda gives a nod, well, more of a half nod really before adding. "You'll feel a lot better around everyone else anyway. Evidently the whole holiday spirit thing is infectious, so I'm told." Laughs softly and gives up his place leaning against the wall in favor of wandering towards the door. "Besides, I don't want to have to deal with a search party when Yugi figures out we're not there. *Smiles*
YAMI: Yami laughs as he stands and follows Honda out the door. " True, he is a stubborn little bugger sometimes. But that is why we love him right?"
HONDA: "Not that he would let us do anything otherwise." Again jest rings in his tone before he stops speaking, amusement in dark eyes but few words uttered as he exits the room. With a lazy stride he heads back downstairs, a quick glance around to figure out just who is where and what has gone on in his absence before he slips to one side of the room to watch the happens around him.
YAMI: Yami slips in to the room behind Honda and makes his way over to the sofa and sits down to watch. He looks about the room and wonders where everyone else is at.
MALIK: Outside shivering, Malik bangs on the door loudly. "Yo!! Its freezing out here if you don’t mind!!" He shouts.
YAMI: Yami hears the bang at the door and stands slipping out of the room to open the door.
KAIBA: Kaiba watches as yet another person entered the cabin, with mild interest. He turned his gaze back to the giant tree where the young violet eyed boy was trying to move ornaments around.
MALIK: "About time." Malik snapped, walking past Yami briskly. He threw his coat down on the sofa and sat down, grabbing a candy cane out of the many on a table.
YUGI: Yugi was getting frustrated with the Christmas tree. It was way too big and he wasn't able to reach high enough to place the star. " I suppose the star will have to wait...why did Kaiba decide to get such a huge tree?"
HONDA: Evidently this little venture into holiday amusements is just going to get more strange as times passes he decides, watching Malik stalk around. Holds back the impulse to say something, instead simply studies the people with half focused intent.
YAMI: "Sorry I did not hear you. I was upstairs," Yami says as he joins the other young man on the sofa.
KAIBA: Kaiba's line of gaze changed for Yugi to the conversing Yami and Honda. He raised an eyebrow, they seemed to have met a mutual agreement, and looked like they were enjoying each other's company.
MALIK: Malik rolled his eyes at Yami. "Whatever. It looks like your Hikari is having problems with the tree." He smirked, looking over at Yugi.
YAMI: " So it does. Though it looks like Honda is going to go and help him with the star," yami says simply sitting there and watching.
HONDA: Does not even bother to lift a brow at Yami's apparent volunteering him to help, it is the sort of role he's used to falling into. Do what you are told when people need you to, he's good at that. So he has to leave the comfort of his wallside vigil and to the tree itself where he regards Yugi with a cheerful smile. "Looks good so far, need some help?"
YUGI: Yugi smiled and pointed at the star. " I think I'm too short to put this up..." He handed the star over to Honda. "Why don't you do it? I'm getting fed up with this tree."
YAMI: Yami watches and chuckles a bit. " You are not short Yugi. Just not had your growth spurt yet," he says laughing and his eyes and tones lets everyone know he is just teasing a bit.
YUGI: Yugi raises an eyebrow. " oh yea? hey! you're not *that* much taller."
YAMI: "But I am still taller,:" he says smirking.
HONDA: "If Kaiba puts up the effort to murder an innocent tree then I guess we are supposed to put up the effort to cover it's corpse in tacky junk, right?" *Grins and takes the star, looking up at the top of the tree before leaning up to try and place the object among the branches. Actually has to lean up on his toes some to reach since the tree is pretty massive, but manages to get the star in place.
YUGI: Yugi pretends to glare at Yami. "You're taller..but not by *that* much. I'll be taller some day...I hope." He then turns his attention back to the tree. " Wow Honda! thanks! it looks good!"
HONDA: Listening to the bounce of conversation back and forth between Yugi and Yami he cannot help but laugh softly. Then he takes a good look at the tree himself, has to admit that it does look rather good though through very little effort of his own since Yugi did the decorating after all. "You did a good job with it Yugi."
YUGI: "Thanks Honda. I just had too much spare time on my hands." He smiles and looks at everyone else. " So now that that’s settled, what else is there to do?"
MALIK: "Who cares. Where the hell is Kaiba??" Malik asked impatiently, looking around.
BAKURA: "Who knows, and who cares," Bakura said, as he walked into the room.
MALIK: "I care, I wanna know where my room is." said Malik. "And when the hell did you get here?" He asked, glancing back at Bakura.
HONDA: "I guess we stand around and stare at each other." No, he is not serious of course, but at least it breaks into the already heated banter between Malik and Bakura.
MALIK: "Sounds like fun." Said Malik sarcastically, sending a glare in Bakura's direction every few minutes.
BAKURA: "Would you stop that," he sighs.
"Lets just hunt down Kaiba, and get him to show us our rooms, it's fuggin' cold in here," Bakura said as he bean to walk up the stairs( ?) to the second level
MALIK: Malik sighed and got up slowly. "Fine fine whatever." he muttered.
HONDA: Seeing that the other two are busy apparently with hunting down Kaiba he decides not to get involved with that. Instead he looks around again and thinks out loud. "As big as this place is there has to be something worth finding, I wonder if I'd get lost just walking around." Not really addressed to anyone, just mostly curious.
