yeah, i don't generally care much for them; it goes against my idea of what books are for. :) i mean, one has to ruin an actual book for it. i think i am ok with it if it's a particular statement that includes the topic of the book, but if it's just another thing for people to collage i don't care for it.

this is impressive though. thanks for the link. i'll have to look at his work for a while.

It's quite cool. While I tend to have a negative reaction to destroying books, I've seen how many end up trashed when no one wants them at the end of the public library book sale (even free!). I might be tempted to harvest a few on the way to the dumpster, since they are usually things like old sets of encyclopedias or out of date textbooks slated for destruction anyway.
