[...Okay where is she? This isn't her bed, it doesn't look like it or her school. It doesn't smell the same. She looks around further - it's clearly a school room and she's sitting on a desk. In... a dress. A little dress which is white and- jeez this thing is ugly. She pouts a it at that, trying to get her bearings]

[Slowly Winry comes to consciousness slowly. The blond doesn't remember if she's supposed to be in class... did she fall asleep again? Wait, didn't she stop going to school? Winry can't remember.]

If you did, I think you're super-late. [It's raining outside, but looking out this window... man, is it night? It's dark out. She says this non-chalantly like]

[Great. She stands from her seat and walks to the door.] Granny is going to be so angry with me.

[There's probably something familiar about these kids, but what bugs Sokka the most is that they're splashing where he wants to sit and eat his lunch. SIIIGH. His life. What is it. They look new, too. Maybe he should do something about it. ]

[Some dude is watching them in the fountain? It's been sort of a wierd - okay very weird - day. it's a rainy day and his gaze stands out to her despite this. Oh. She narrows her eyes and turns-

[When Haruhi stops and stares Winry can't help but follow suit. Is there something wrong? Why is that weird guy looking at them?]

[Well they got New Feather clothes on, so he should probably say something. Oi.]

I take it you two are new.

[Edward's sort of been patrolling around the village after the failed stint with Beat at the barrier, in the (vain at best) hope that he'll stumble upon Winry when she's sent back. It's frustrating, to have to be the one waiting around, but at this point he can't do much about that.

Unfortunately rain is not his best friend; it hasn't been since the automail installation, so when the storm starts up, he takes refuge in the nearest building to him, the grocery store. At least that way he'll be able to eat if he gets stuck there for hours. Stupid rain.

Once there's a lull in the storm, he opts to make a break for it, tugging the hood over his head and starting off; he doesn't give the little girls in the fountain more than a cursive glance, since he's not looking for a little anyone.]

[Well Haruhi obviously can't recognize anyone here. But... it's a dude (chick? it's short) in a cloak. That would attract attention for someone like her but she only glances at him briefly before turning back to Winry. No, she can't endanger her new compatriot if that's a shady molester. She's responsible]

[That coat. That eye-catching, horribly gawdy coat - she knows that coat. Winry starts over to him, waving to get the guy's attention.]

Hey, hey! Mister, over there!

[Mister Huh-what-

Why is that little girl calling out to him? He doesn't kn-

...Wait. Little girl. Little blonde girl.

He knows this girl. He pulls the hood down to get a better look, then gawks at her.]

Winry!?

[But right now she's not watching for you man. In fact, your presence doesn't stand out to her at all. She instead just splashes Winry again in this meantime]

[Winry splashes back with enthusiasm, and while Minato may be protected from falling water the umbrella doesn't cover his sides. Is he close enough to get hit by a splash?]

[But he is totally ignored in favor of the ... lizard? Dragon? DRAGON?!]

Oh! Oh, is that a dragon?!

[And in fact she shoves (perhaps bit a roughly, or as rough as an elevenish year old Japanese girl can be) past Hiccup to close in on the dragon after leaping off the fountain's sidepart]

[Winry just stares from her spot in the fountain at toothless. That - it is a dragon. This is a dream now, she can tell. If the wings weren't a hint, the dragon was. Maybe she should stop watching so many movies whenever the projector comes to town.]
