I stopped at the Duluth Perkins when I passed through on my way to Grand Marais last week.

It always seems so strange to me to be so far from home and go somewhere that I would go at home suck as Caribou or Perkins, but sometimes you just need something you trust and know to be of good quality.

True. I've been on a sugar-free, high-carb free diet for a while now and there's hardly anything on Perkins' menu that I can eat now, but I still like them for the familiarity.

I did wish I was more familiar with the area, though, because I would have liked to have tried out a new and interesting place - I just didn't know where to find one. :)
