VHS to VHS Transfer--- About to Pull My Hair Out!

Does anyone know how to transfer a (copyrighted) VHS to a blank VHS, using two VCRs? I used to be able to do it years ago, but back then I had a pre-1985 VCR that ignored copyright protection. Now my dinosaur is broke and I can't figure out how to hook up two VCR's together and make copies of a tape--- grrr

put a peice of scotch tape over the square of the rectangular side that's facing you put the tape into the vcr
