So, today I had a few free minutes before I had to pick up kids after a Hockey game and so I went and got my eyebrow pierced. I LIKE IT! The summer before my 40th birthday I got my nose pierced and at the time I vowed to get my eyebrow pierced before I turned 50. It sounds a bit compulsive, I know, but it was actually (sort-of) factored into my day. Tom called it a "mid-life crisis" but I think that my having thought about this for five years qualifies it as a sound decision. Maybe I wanted another piercing because it's important to me that the "housewife" status doesn't completely consume my existance! Speaking of that, I will be cooking dinner for two dozen people tomorrow. I enjoy "doing" housewife, just don't like "being" one. *smile* What are you doing for Turkey Day?
