Why does life continue to hurt so much?

Since when did meaningless sex become worth more than a 2 1/4 year relationship? I wish it would stop hurting so much. We'll see what happens come next Saturday. That's when everything gets decided. I wish there was a pill to make me fall into a trance so I wouldn't have to live through this week but I would still get all my school work done.
