Hey darlin' I took some of those ;) like that one of Wes on his gee-tar! OK so maybe that's the only one I took but still!
Just wanted to let you know ... I love you uber big, and more than you know, and so do a ton of other people that I can think of right off the top of my head. And you know what you said about why people like you, about how it was because you're "happy" all the time? Well ... that's you, Lauren. You usually love everyone and everything automatically, no matter who they are or what they've done. (unless they're total douche-queers but that's okay, they don't deserve a chance anywho.) How did we become friends again? It was actually because of Don's death ... OK so that's depressing ... but think about it ... I was there for you then ... and I am now ... I LOVE you.
Considering uber is a German prefix, using it with the english langauge (or the reverse using Anglicisms with German speech) is grammatically incorrect, though popularly accepted. Because you are not only incorrect, but anonymously so - we hate you too.
I was pointing out that it is incorrect to use in English. My point is that the use comes from video games. Reserved for the best of the best. Its nerdspeak. Like "That guy is an ubershot" or "He has ubergear." So STFU (Also, any common internet acronym comes from computer games).
I wouldn't be anonymous if I had an LJ. I just like reading peoples. And Lauren happened to by my friend many a year ago and I never deleted her off my buddylist. Plus, I already mentioned I like being a jackass and this is all in fun and games.
In that usage it is slang, therefore you're rules are null and void my friend. I also doubt the validity of all acronyms coming from online games considering online communities predating any games I know of used acronyms such as LOL, LY, "hacker speak", etc. I will, however, concede that common usage of "uber" did. Generally speaking uber has become a stand-alone adjective with roots in its German definition, which range from literal "uberman (superman)" to "uber big (super big...) Yeah... this is loads of fun (it's so sad that I have nothing better to do right now)
Is this the most attention you've had on your lj in awhile, Lauren?

You don't know who I am and I don't know who you are, but seriously don't use uber. It's not becoming of a starlet particularly a punk-rock one.
