The "rational" answer to that question is September. The "Maggie" answer is TOMORROW!! So, it'll be sometime between tomorrow and September.
The soonest I could reasonably leave here is early July, since I'm driving to St. Louis for a wedding with my mother that first weekend. However, I have another wedding in St. Louis (why do I know so many people getting married in a city I've never been to?) in early August, and I'd like to spare myself an additional 15 hours of driving if possible.
Start looking for jobs for me. I'd enjoy being a secretary at a church or a university (both of which seem to be easy to find in Virginia), and I have EXTENSIVE retail experience if it comes to that (please, God, spare me the agony), so keep your ears open.
So... summer. (Perhaps here for the Drooling Insanity that is July 16?)
I've been looking at the link you sent me last month (http://www.hrs.virginia.edu/staffing/class.html) and there are secretary/admin postitions a-plenty at UVA. Literally, hundreds. I'm just trying to figure out which ones to apply for first. Because I plan on applying for like, many. There are jobs in all different departments, so I'll look out for you. And with any luck you'll never have to look at another cash register and I'll never have to look at another 3-year-old ever again.
I'm so glad you've decided to move to C-ville! Whee!!
Isn't it bizarre that women are told that in order to be beautiful they must be not only thinner than is natural for many women, but also look 14? It's so ingrained that most of the time we don't even notice that this is what we're told. We're being sold on an unrealistic idea of what beauty is, and any woman who dares to defy that picture is told she's ugly. A woman's body should be ultimately healthy, not forced into a mold. /women's studies minor
