I love it when I see an ad that makes me think "I wish I had done that." It doesn't happen that often. Lots of dreck out there. But these print ads, created by a South African agency for binoculars, are just that type of ad. Funny in an Onion sort of way. The photos are funny, but take the time to read the body copy. It's worth it.

Sounds like the kind of stuff I tried to get away with at Adcenter. Unfortunately Fenske didn't get the ad about the guy with no arms that couldn't get a date because he didn't use the right facial soap.

Yeah, doing ads in school is fun. Then you get out into the real world and deal with clients/bean counters. And then it's less fun. But not to sound completely bleak...i've had plenty of enjoyable things I've worked on. It's just fun to bitch.
