Dreu has endometriosis. Surgery went well on Wednesday. Lab results (confirming diagnosis) will be in 7-10 days from now.

Also, yesterday afternoon we went to the doctors and I gave Dreu his first injection of Testosterone!!!!!!

oh I'm sorry to hear about Dreu and his endometriosis. I hope he's doing well. I'm glad you got to be there for his first injection. Very intense I bet. Good luck and best wishes to both of you. You are my heroes

It's actually a good thing that he has endometriosis (sounds weird, I know!). Obviously endometriosis isn't a good thing for women, because its painful! But because Dreu is transgender, he will be having a hysterectomy in the (hopefully near) future. Having a diagnosis of endometriosis means that this surgery will be covered by insurance, rather than a purely out of pocket expense.

The first injection was intense in a good way. We are both so happy to finally have gotten to this point! It was intense as a partner, that he has waited so long to have these hormones, and I'm the one who is able to physically inject them into his body. In a way I got to give him that.
