I like lists. They are neat and organized, makes you feel like you will get something done. But then you have to do things and check them off and remember where you put the list

Wildlife is very interesting! I've met some semi-tame wolves (they were like, 98-99% pure, and kept by friends of a friend of a friend of mine, and I was invited out to meet them. Which was very cool. And I was later offered a wolf cub from their 50/50 strain - and I refused, because...well. Wolf).
I'm trying to avoid the fact my pipes are frozen. -_- I've closed off the bathroom, and turned up the thermostat, and hope I'll have water in there by tomorrow morning...
The old man use to work at a zoo and now his job is inspecting them. Pip always wants to know what animals he saw. Seeing these animals up close all the time he forgets that bears, or wolfs are exciting to us.
Luckily we've never had the frozen pipes, even as cold as it gets up here. Hopefully, there won't be any lasting damage.
If I was allowed to own a wild animal, I might go for a fox. Because...well, fox. But I'd want one of those Russian foxes that are all but dogs now.
The pipes are fine now. I stuck candles under them directly, and blew a hair dryer at them for a while, and closed off the bathroom, so it's actually semi-warm in there. It's nice to step in there and feel an increase in the temp. Mmm, warmth.
(Florida made me very warm-blooded. This cold stuff...ugh.)
My cousin is a docent at the local zoo, and when I first moved up here, he took me on a behind the scenes tour. So I was allowed to pet and feed the warthogs and the giraffes and stuff like that, which was really cool. Unfortunately, no camera that day. *sob*
1. Well, at least it makes some one happy. ;) Not sure if my outlines would pass muster in a English class, but it is way more than I usually do. I'm just anxious, this isn't my style of writing and I'm kind of excited and don't want it to fall by the wayside.

I'm so excited that I broke the list formation! Ahem.
1. How cool that you are doing something outside of your usual style of writing. Can't wait to see what you've written.
2. I'm always so impressed by how you and other authors are able to write these amazing stories in a relatively short period of time. Remember how I said that I ought to write some shorter stories for a little practice before diving into that DOFP idea I had? Yeah, I've been working on one story since then. That was weeks ago, and I only have 9 pages to show for it. Gah!
3. *More happy dancing* What's that you have behind your back there? :)
4. I am more of a visual person, too. I am definitely out of my element when it comes to writing. Thus we have the aforementioned 9 measly pages of a story that I've been working on for weeks.
5. I think I need to make some fan art to avoid writing. ;)
Break list formation all you want, I'm good with it.
1. It's good to step out of your comfort zone once in a while. I just hope that I don't fall back into old habits and drop it for a decade before I pick it back up.
2. Set the Time, Something to talk about, and a couple others sat around for years before I completed them. I'm far from a fast writer. It took me months to do the final edit on Something to Talk About. Nine pages in two weeks is speedy to me. musesfool, Victoria P. in the WRFA, talks about the struggles of writing all the time and she has a great rate of output

4. Fan art is an excellent way to avoid writing. I like to think of it as writing stories with images rather than words. That counts, right?
