Cookies! All of them sound amazing, can't decide on which one to try first.

I read somewhere about someone infusing their melted butter with different spices, like whole cloves, star anise, nutmeg and cinnamon sticks then straining it out with cheesecloth to make fancy chocolate chip cookies. Never tried it, but I'm wondering if it might just be easier to add the powdered versions into the dry ingredients instead or if direct infusion + steeping time= a more potent flavor profile.

Adding maple syrup to cookies makes me want to try to add some finely crumbled bacon for a sweet/savory taste (then again, I just love bacon. I'll add it to anything.)

Did you get a chance to make any yet? The somoa ones are my favorite.

I've seen people infuse butter, I'm too lazy for that. :) A little cinnamon, etc might be a nice addition to some of those.

Bacon makes everything better!

I haven't tried any yet, but I filed them away for later. I'm with you on the infusion camp, but I might have to try it one of these days.
